We developed a brand new first class thermostat. Suitable for Lancia Aurelia (all series). This top quality product is manufactured in Germany.

 

Our new thermostat fits in the original sockets of all Aurelia engines.

 

Opening temperatures: either 66°C to 78°C (set point 72°C) summer or 71°C-83°C (set point 77°C) winter. The temperature sensor is a wax type element as used in all modern cars, but only the sensor itself, the other components are made individually for the above engines.

The bottle neck of the old thermostat is the small cross sectional area at the sensor and the opening gap, both surfaces are drastically enlarged by the new design (increased throughput of 85%).

 

As a result, the new element has much lower pressure drop and in combination with the bigger cross sectional areas leads to easier and higher transport capacity of cooling water / cooling liquid.

Made from 304-grade stainless steel, the HyeDraCyl cylinders are direct replacements for Dunlop items fitted to many '50s and '60s Jaguars, Lancias and Ferraris.
